Stage 4 of 7 · Observed Reality Paradox

Stage 4: The Mimicry Loop

Originality is viewed as inefficient. People copy successful Avatars to stay relevant, leading to global homogenization.

Foundation claim

Stage 4 is the Mimicry Loop. After the Avatar is born, the efficient path is imitation. Copy the formats, tones, and postures that already win engagement. Originality is treated as waste. Homogenization spreads.

Mechanism

Mimicry (M) multiplies with Observation (O) in the AQ denominator as (O × M). Watching and copying reinforce each other. The more you observe successful Avatars, the more you reproduce them; the more the feed shows copies, the more Observation trains the next copy. Superposition — private, fluid difference — has less room to survive.

Lived signs

How it feeds Stage 5

When everyone copies what works, life itself becomes a measurement problem: will this action perform? Spontaneity dies under 24/7 content-value evaluation. That is Feedback Collapse.

Anti-Observation / reclaim Superposition

Make one choice that is inefficient for the feed and honest for you. Do not A/B test it. Mimicry shrinks when Observation of “what works” is deliberately interrupted. Return a fragment of Superposition: uncopied Being.
